These are paired watercolors using tonal
values from black to white, incorporating pen & ink accents. I
had just returned from Paris myself when the client contacted me for this
commission. I was in these exact spots during the
Tour de France, making this work very easy to envision. |
I like to portray the juxtaposition of bright colors and soft textures.
