Being an artist means that I am also a
student; everyday I find new challenges as I work toward improvement. In this way, I grow both as an artist and an
individual.
Expressing the beauty of the world through an "impressionistic
realism" style... creating soothing images that suggest worlds far removed from our hectic
lives... capturing a quiet place to rest.
Much of her work has been inspired by travels in Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland, England, and Mexico.
Enjoys creating artistic mementos from a collection of photographs. From this evolved "fine art for your fond memories."
These paintings enable the fond memory to be enhanced and stay alive with continuing interest and beauty.
She's also used her talents as a muralist in hospitals, nursing homes, and schools.
Born and reared in Atlanta, GA, she received B.A. degrees in Education and Fine Arts from Webster University in St. Louis, MO, and a Master of Art degree from
Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA.
Beauty can be found everywhere if you just slow down and notice.
